How the studio uses the details you choose to share.
Manik Studios, operated by Jay Davies, uses your details to review and respond to your request. For privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests, contact j.davies.inbox@gmail.com.
We collect your name or character name, email address, garment choice, colours, brief and optional reference link. We also record when the enquiry was received, its status and private studio notes. We use this information to discuss the scope, price and timing of work you request, including steps towards a possible contract. We do not use your enquiry to subscribe you to marketing.
Please share only information needed for the clothing request. Reference links are opened by the studio; use links you have permission to share.
The website is hosted by Netlify. Enquiry processing and storage use Supabase. Only approved studio administrators can read enquiries and private notes. These providers may process technical request information to operate and protect their services. For their processing locations and safeguards, see Supabase’s privacy information and Netlify’s privacy information.
Enquiries are retained while needed to handle your request and any resulting work or dispute. Closed enquiries should be reviewed and deleted when no longer needed; deletion is managed by the studio rather than an automatic timer. Contact us if you would like your details corrected or removed. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal obligations.
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction, or raise an objection where applicable. Contact the studio using the address above. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
The admin dashboard stores sign-in information in your browser so your session works. Public enquiry forms do not require a customer account. No automated enquiry confirmation or marketing emails are sent by this form.
With your permission, we record page paths, visit time, referring website hostname or campaign source label, device-size category and outbound Tebex clicks. A random visit identifier groups page views into sessions. With your permission, we also record page-by-page journeys, a recent foreground activity signal, campaign source/medium/name labels and approximate town/city and country supplied by our hosting provider. Only approved studio administrators can read these records. A visible page sends an activity signal every 30 seconds, stopping after five minutes without interaction; this is an approximate live status, not a recording of your screen. We do not store IP addresses, full query strings, form contents or email addresses in analytics records. Supabase and Netlify may separately process technical logs to provide their services.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. The session identifier is shared across tabs in this browser and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Analytics records older than 90 days are removed when the next event is received. Choose Analytics preferences in the footer to withdraw permission for future tracking. Analytics is used to understand and improve this website, not for advertising. Separately, the hosting server counts public HTML page loads in daily aggregate totals by approximate country and may notify the owner of activity with an approximate town/city and country supplied by the hosting provider. Town/city is used for the notification, not stored in the activity database. VPNs and mobile networks can affect accuracy. This counter operates without analytics permission and stores no visitor identifiers, IP addresses, page histories, referrers or device details. Refreshes can count again. Recognised bots and previews are excluded, but the count cannot verify humans or unique visitors. Daily totals are retained for up to 90 days and removed when new activity arrives. Hosting providers may process their own technical logs. A non-unique owner preference cookie excludes signed-in administrators from this count; it expires after one year.
